I Dig Trees!

Trees Atlanta invites the whole Atlanta community to "dig trees!" By that we not only mean the literal planting of them, but also the endorsing that planting trees is something that you dig, or think it cool. Join us in our quest for Atlanta business owners, community leaders, and regular citizens, as we make it well know that lots of people in Atlanta dig trees!

The Junior League of Atlanta Digs Trees! Pictured here are the Board of Directors for the Junior League. The Junior League of Atlanta recently celebrated its 95 anniversary. During the ball, the JLA chose to also honor longtime member and Trees Atlanta founding executive director Marcia Bansley. Additionally, JLA founded Trees Atlanta, along with Central Atlanta Progress and the Atlanta Parks Commissioner. Lisa Dwyer, pictured on far right, is the JLA's Board president, and is also a Board member for Trees Atlanta.

Kaiser Permanente Dig Trees! Pictured here is Rob Schreiner, Executive Medical Director of the Southeast Permanente Medical Group. Kaiser Permanently granted Trees Atlanta $90,000 in support of its new Education program that includes an Education Coordinator and docents on the BeltLine who will help educate the public about the BeltLine and the trees/plants along it. Mr. Schreiner is also a Trees Atlanta Board member.

If your business wants to "dig trees", email Bethany Clark at Bethany@treesatlanta.org for details.
