"We plant trees not for ourselves, but for future generations."
Caecilius Statius, 219 BC - 166 BC
By including Trees Atlanta in your estate plans, you can be a part of one of Atlanta's greatest assets - its trees - and ensure that future generations will enjoy their countless benefits.
In 1985, Trees Atlanta was brought together by a group of concerned citizens and organizations, including Central Atlanta Progress, the Junior League of Atlanta, and the City of Atlanta, who wanted to reclaim our city's urban forest. Since its conception, Trees Atlanta has benefited from the foresight of generous friends who have included Trees Atlanta in their wills, knowing that by doing so, the trees we have planted will shade the city for generations to come.
By carefully considering your gift to Trees Atlanta in conjunction with your estate and financial planning, you can take advantage of some creative opportunities that can help you maximize your assets. These gifts, tailored to your individual circumstances and needs, ensure that the our city's urban forest will continue to flourish.
