Native Trees are those that grow or occur naturally in an area. Trees native to Atlanta are acclimated to the soil and climate conditions of the area and are also adapted to local insect and disease problems. Native trees provide food and shelter for migratory and indiginous birds in addition to many mammels. Often Pikes, Home Depot, or Lowes will carry native trees.
