Virtual Family Fun: Who Lives in A Tree

Fri Jan 08 | 9am-10am | Virtual

Do you know where bats go during the daytime? Or where exactly a squirrel rests when it’s not scurrying through the canopy? As the next installment of Trees Atlanta’s Family Fun series, “Who Lives in a Tree?” is tailor-made to answer just these sorts of questions! This guided learning exploration of urban wildlife and its various habitats is offered to families with children between the ages of 3 and 8. Viewers will embark on a virtual adventure through the Urban Food Forest at Browns Mill, learning about the food forest’s history, plant life, and its many critters and critter homes along the way.

This will be a pre-recorded tour for families to watch from the comfort of their own homes at their leisure. Once registered, families will be scheduled to receive a link to the virtual tour at 9:00 AM on Friday, January 8. The video will be available on-demand, allowing families to watch the tour at a time that fits their schedules.

Questions about this program and registration can be directed to Andrew Nelson (anelson@treesatlanta.org)
