Virtual Landscaping Workshop: Invasive Plant Identification

Sat Jun 27 | 10am-11am | Virtual

Invasive plants can cause a host of issues, such as out-competing native plants, reducing biodiversity, harboring mosquitos, and more. Continuing our landscaping workshop series with Scott Braslow, we'll learn how to identify invasive plants, as well as tips to control and remove them. Along the way, Scott will show participants examples of good native species that are worth incorporating into your landscape.

Scott Braslow has been involved with Trees Atlanta since around 2000. He first fell in love with big trees growing up in Pensacola, Florida. He found mind-like people at Trees Atlanta who were trying to protect the canopy of the city. Scott is looking forward to motivating others to plant, protect, and take care of urban trees that make Atlanta beautiful.
