Fall Foliage Watercolor Art Workshop

Through the art of watercolor painting, explore the hardwood trees that make up our climax community of our urban forest, specifically the trees in the Atlanta BeltLine Arboretum. This class will cover the basics of Beech and Tulip Poplar trees and floral watercolor as the theme. Lead by Atlanta artist Patricia Kusumadjaja, participants will learn about creating basic petal shape, leaf shapes, and composition for creating a fall palette. Supplies for this workshop and examples will be provided.

Instructor: Patricia Kusumadjaja
Patricia Kusumadjaja started her love affair with watercolor as a Fine Arts minor while studying Architecture. In the last seven years, she’s created hundreds of illustrations through watercolor for various commissions, projects, and products, collaborating with brands such as West Elm, Bloomingdales, and Sixpenny. Her favorite subjects are people, florals, and fashion - often inspired by her travels and everyday life.
