Thu Jun 25 | 6pm-7:30pm | Black Coffee ATL
Join Fulton County Extension and Trees Atlanta for a special Pollinator Week Walk: An Evening of Entomology! As the sun sets, we’ll explore Atlanta’s Beltline Arboretum Southwest Trail and discover the world of pollinators and other fascinating insects that come alive in the evening hours. Guided by Gabrielle LaTora, a passionate entomologist and Fulton County Extension’s Agriculture & Natural Resources Agent, you’ll learn how these tiny creatures support Atlanta’s urban forest, gardens, and food systems—and uncover simple ways you can help Atlanta’s pollinators thrive in your own neighborhood.
About the Guide:

About Pollinator Week: (June 15-21st) Pollinator Week is an annual celebration in support of pollinator health that was initiated and is managed by Pollinator Partnership. It is a time to raise awareness for pollinators and spread the word about what we can do to protect them. Learn more about Pollinator Week here. About the Atlanta Beltline Arboretum: Established in 2006, the Atlanta Beltline Arboretum serves as a component of Atlanta’s urban forest, acting as a public garden, ecological corridor, and a learning landscape. The Arboretum is a dynamic collection of wild and cultivated tree and woody plant species, along with extensive southeastern grass and forb groundcover that showcases sustainable landscape management and demonstrates native plant use in an urban setting. Upon completion the Atlanta Beltline Arboretum will comprise over 100 acres across the 22-mile linear public garden, earning the title of the world’s longest accredited linear arboretum.
