Trees Atlanta Kendeda Center

Trees Atlanta is headquarted in Reynoldstown — a historic neighborhood in Atlanta, Georgia that is home to a mix of residential, commercial, and industrial uses.

The Kendeda Center includes a main building which is an adaptive reuse of a warehouse. Upon completion of renovations in 2008, the building was awarded LEED Platinum Certification. The center also includes a beautiful courtyard, green roof, rainwater cisterns, and planted spaces throughout the small lot. The outdoor space is a demonstration of the variety and density of trees and native plants that can be planted in a commerical lot. Every tree on the lot was planted in 2008 or later. These now-large trees are a gentle reminder that a tree planted today can be enjoyed immediately, as well as by future generations.

Our administrative team and much of our program staff work at the Kendeda Center. This location hosts community and education events and volunteer coordination.

The Kendeda Center is available for rental. The beautiful space is very popular for weddings, parties, meetings, corporate retreats, and other events. Centrally located in Reynoldstown, the Kendeda Center is convenient to downtown Atlanta, I-75/85, and I-20. It is less than one mile from two MARTA Transit Stations: Inman Park-Reynoldstown and King Memorial. We are located one block from the Atlanta BeltLine Eastside Extension Trail near the Memorial Drive access point.

Trees Atlanta TreeHouse

Effective May 1, 2020, the Trees Atlanta TreeHouse (formerly located at 112 Krog Street, Suite 7) is permanently closed.

Five eventful, boisterous years at the Krog Street location quickly passed, and our lease for this space came to an end. The education staff and all of our education programs have returned to the Kendeda Center at 225 Chester Avenue, Atlanta GA 30316.

What a fabulous time we had having the BeltLine literally outside our backdoor. We’ll miss working in the same building as our incredible partners, the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership!

All education events are scheduled at the Kendeda Center or location(s) as specified in the event descriptions. We can’t wait to host you at the Kendeda Center again.
