Trees, Diversity, and Me: 2024 Georgia Arbor Day Student Art Contest Winners
What a delight to see the talent of our young artists! Take a look at their creative interpretations of the 2024 theme, “Trees, Diversity, and Me.” Congratulations to the Georgia Arbor Day Contest winners! Each artist will receive a monetary prize for their winning entry, along with a prize for their school classroom.
We were pleased to receive close to 150 entries in our Annual Art Contest! Submissions came from all across Metro Atlanta and celebrated the creativity of our budding tree stewards. Participants submitted a work of art in the medium of their choice. We received watercolors, mixed media, photography, poetry, short stories, and digital art.
A gallery of placed student art work will be on display at the Trees Atlanta Kendeda TreeHouse for families to visit. The Georgia Arbor Day Student Art Contest Gallery Showing will be open February 19 – 22. Visitors are welcome during regular office hours, Monday through Friday (9 am – 4 pm).
