Speaker Series: Kathryn Kolb with Dynamic Symmetry
Please join us for an educational evening as we welcome Atlanta photographer Kathryn Kolb to the Trees Atlanta Speaker Series. Kathryn’s photography exhibit, Dynamic Symmetry, will be on display for free before and after her talk beginning at 7:00 PM. During her presentation she’ll discuss the intricacies of nature and the trees surrounding us. Come learn and see the beauty of nature!

Earth Day on the Atlanta BeltLine
Join Keep Atlanta Beautiful, Atlanta BeltLine, Inc., the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership, Park Pride, Trees Atlanta, the Atlanta Community ToolBank, and neighborhood partners to remove invasive bamboo and debris from Northeast Hiking Trail on the Atlanta BeltLine to celebrate this year’s Earth Day on the Atlanta BeltLine!

Champion Tree Walk with Eli Dickerson
Ready to tour some of Atlanta’s Champion trees? Meet Eli Dickerson, Trees Atlanta’s Events & Donor Relations -and- Champion Tree Coordinator, at Corner of Beech Valley Rd NE and Pasadena Ave NE in the Morningside Neighborhood to learn all about the Champion Trees of Herbert Taylor Park. This 2-hour morning Tree Walk from 10am to 12pm will help attendees learn all about what a champion tree is, where to find them in Atlanta, how to submit a large tree to be considered as a Champion, and to become more familiar with identifying the trees in the Park.

Bike Tour of Trees in Virginia-Highland
Trees Atlanta and the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition present a “Tree Tour on Bikes”, led by ISA Certified Arborist Linc Weis and experienced ride leaders from ABC. This family-oriented ride visits the Virginia-Highland Neighborhood Arboretum along quiet neighborhood streets as well as a stretch of the Eastside Trail of the Atlanta BeltLine while showcasing diverse ornamental and flowering trees.
