Highlights From This Year’s Tree Sale

2020 Tree Sale at Kendeda Center

Our Annual Tree Sale is without a doubt one of our favorite events we host each year. We bring in hundreds of hard-to-find species of trees, shrubs, native perennials, and tree-friendly vines and get to offer them to our community. What’s not to love? This year’s Tree Sale was introduced in a new format. Instead of just hosting just one in-person storefront at Freedom Farmers Market at The Carter Center, we opened up an online store for preorders in addition to a socially-distanced, in-person sale.

We are beyond thankful for the support we received with this year’s sale. We received a record number of tree and plant sales, with all proceeds going to supporting Trees Atlanta’s programs and operations. Volunteers also donated their time to help with logistics and brought smiles along the way, and we’re endlessly thankful for their continued support.

Tabitha, a member of our Data team, put together a great Storymap with highlights from the Tree Sale. At the bottom of the Storymap, you’ll also find a photo submission form where you can send us pictures of your trees and plants in their new home.
