Oh, The Places You’ll Grow: 2026 Georgia Arbor Day Student Art Contest Winners

What an incredible showcase of talent from our young artists! Their creative interpretations of our 2026 theme, “Oh, the Places You’ll Grow!,” captured growth in all its forms, from towering trees to bold ideas and bright futures.

Congratulations to the winners of the Trees Atlanta Georgia Arbor Day Student Art Contest!

This year, we received more than 361 original submissions from students in grades K-12 across metro Atlanta and beyond. Young artists explored the theme through visual art and writing, using paint, mixed media, digital illustration, poetry, woodworking, and more. The range of creativity was inspiring and a powerful reminder of how deeply connected the next generation is to trees and the natural world.

We want to share a special thank you to Amazon and Scraplanta for sponsoring this year’s Georgia Arbor Day Student Art Contest. Their generous donations allowed us to award art supplies to local schools, provide incredible prizes for these young artists, and give appreciation to their teachers who encourage and support their creativity. Thank you!

Winning entries will be on display at the Kendeda TreeHouse during our Gallery Showing and can be viewed during office hours (Monday – Friday, 9am – 4pm). Take a look at the winners below.

We are so proud of these young creatives and grateful to everyone who participated. The future of our urban forest is in thoughtful and imaginative hands!

We celebrated our winners at our Annual Student Art Gallery on Saturday, February 14, 2026 where our winning artists had their artwork displayed and accepted their awards. Terreta Rodgers, Head of Community Affairs Georgia Region for Amazon, was in attendance at the Trees Atlanta Kendeda TreeHouse to host the best Georgia Arbor Day Student Art Contest yet! Amazon’s funding was distributed to sixteen middle schools and high schools in south Atlanta to support art programs in their school, especially to purchase needed art supplies. Amazon and Scraplanta provided gifts and gift cards given to each student winner.

Congratulations again to all these incredible artists!
