Run for the Trees

Trees Atlanta is Selected for Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree with a Purpose Official Charity Partner Program 2025

Five Trees Atlanta Runners will Receive Guaranteed Entry for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race with Fundraising Commitment

Trees Atlanta needs five great runners to run for the trees! We invite tree hugging runners to submit an application telling us why you’d be a great runner and fundraiser for Trees Atlanta. Applications will be accepted from 4/3/25 – 5/11/25. Our selection of runners may occur prior to the end of application period, so apply today!

Selected runners will receive an official entry and start in Wave C for the road race on July 4, 2025. This means, we got ya’ covered! The organizers of this charity program will also provide fundraising tools that directly process donations. You provide the energy and network of donors, and they take care of the rest.

Participants are required to set and raise a minimum fundraising goal for Trees Atlanta in exchange for their race registration. View the participant’s agreement which selected runners will sign.

Will you run for the trees?

Trees are a runner’s friend. Who hasn’t moved to the shady side of the street when the sun is high and hot?

Let’s be honest, trees are friends to everyone, but for runners who take their strides onto the road — they REALLY love trees. We love the shade. We love the lower temperatures and fresher air. We love the beauty. We love how they protect us from the rush of cars driving by too fast. There’s so much for runners (and walkers, strollers, and bikers) to love about trees.

We need your support more today than ever before. Put your feet to work to help fund the important community service of Trees Atlanta.
