Run for the Trees 2026
Trees Atlanta Selected for Peachtree with a Purpose Official Charity Partner Program 2026
Five Trees Atlanta Runners will Receive Guaranteed Entry for the Northside Hospital Peachtree Road Race with Fundraising Commitment
Trees Atlanta needs five runners to run for the trees! We invite tree-hugging runners to submit an application telling us why you’d be a great runner and fundraiser for Trees Atlanta. Applications are open now and will be accepted until May 1, 2026. Our selection of runners may occur before the end of the application period, so apply today!
Selected runners will receive an official entry for the race on July 4, 2026. This means, we’ve got ya’ covered! The organizers of this charity program will also provide fundraising tools that process donations directly. You provide the energy and network of donors, and they take care of the rest.
Participants are required to set and raise a minimum fundraising goal for Trees Atlanta in exchange for their race registration. View the participant’s agreement that selected runners will sign.
Will you run for the trees?
Trees are a runner’s friend. Who hasn’t crossed to the shady side of the street when the sun is blazing?
Let’s be honest, trees are friends to everyone. But for runners pounding the pavement, that friendship runs deep. We love the shade. We love cooler temperatures and the cleaner air. We love the beauty lining our streets. We love how they bugger us from the rush of passing cars. There is so much for runners (and walkers, strollers, and cyclists) to love about trees.
And this year, the stakes feel even bigger. As Atlanta takes center stage by hosting a large sporting event this year and celebrate America’s 250th birthday, our urban forest is more vital than ever. More people, more heat, more need for the green canopy that makes our city livable and loveable.
We need your support. Put your feet to work and help fund the important community work of Trees Atlanta.
